Meet the Herbalist

Hi, I’m Courtney—herbalist, tea blender, crystal collector, fire-sign through and through, and the heart behind Three Moods Shoppe.

I’ve been married to my best friend for over 20 years, we’ve raised two incredible grown children, and I share my days with three fur-babies (Maggie, Milo, and Bodie). Life in central Arkansas keeps me close to the mountains, rivers, and wild plants I love to wander among.

My journey with herbs began young, thanks to my late Grams—a metaphysicist and my first teacher in astrology, crystals, and the unseen energy woven through the world. Even as a child, I’d climb onto my mother’s minivan roof with a cup of tea in hand, losing myself in the moon and stars. I’ve always believed there was magic in the ordinary—the “weeds” in the yard, the way a cup of tea can shift your whole day, the way small rituals become sacred.

Over the years, I’ve studied countless herbalist courses to deepen my knowledge of how plants support the body and spirit. What started as personal healing (after my own difficult experience with the medical system) has grown into a lifelong passion: blending teas, crafting remedies, and teaching others how to use the gifts nature provides. Sharing this wisdom is part of who I am—I want everyone to feel empowered to create their own wellness rituals, whether it’s through my blends or through learning to make your own.

When I’m not at the shop, you’ll probably find me thrifting for treasures, curled up with a good book, or falling down a rabbit hole of research just to satisfy my endless curiosity. After years of living life at full speed and drowning in chaos, I’ve come to deeply value the quiet, gentle moments—sipping tea, lighting candles, tending plants, or sitting in stillness. I seek peace wherever I can, and I encourage others to slow down and discover the magic in those small, intentional pauses too.

Three Moods Shoppe was born in 2022 out of that desire. It’s not just a shop—it’s a safe space for curiosity, creativity, and connection. Here, you’ll find herbs, teas, crystals, and little pieces of magic to support your journey—whatever your background, beliefs, or traditions may be. Everyone is welcome at this table.

I believe in romanticizing the small moments of life: steeping a pot of tea, paging through a beloved book, or finding beauty in something vintage and well-loved. Magic isn’t something far away—it’s here, in the everyday, waiting for you to notice.

So pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup, and let’s become friends. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. ✨
